my goldfish is lying on the gravel not doing anything on monday, the day of an earthquake. its not eating not swimming just lying on the ground. i changed the water, filter and added salt but its still down there. is it sick?!

does it move when you get near the tank? How was his condition before the earthquake?

It's possible your goldie may be in shock from the quake. You might
want to try turning the light off for a day or two to help calm your
fishy. Along with that sit by the tank for a little while now and then
to see if your presence will help.

if the fish is egg bound, she might sit on the bottom for a while and the earthquake thing was a coincicence but as pm94 says, i would turn off the lights for a while. if this doesnt wor after a week i would say it was an egg bound girl.

i have 5 other goldfish and they're fine. the one that might be sick was as well as the others untill the mornung of the earthquake.
