Well, not to be rude but your tank is way overstocked and the loach is probably stressed.
Loaches are prone to white spot and velvet so you will need a med that is safe for scaleless fish.
Loaches like their own company and do better in groups, but thats not advisable given your stocking levels.

Black knife fish grows to 20 inches and even when small need a four foot tank.

not to be rude but not truly helpful

I removed the post from the emergency section as we can cover it here.

Why havent I been helpful?
Ive given you the cause of the whitespot and a cure, what more do you want?

ohh sorry

Are you absolutely sure its ich as clown loach fish can show spots that resemble ich but are actually down to poor water quality.

If you do treat with a med for the ich, you will need to remove your ghost knife! They are extremely sensitive to meds and will not tolerate it.

I second that he's quite probably stressed. Do you test your water? What are your ammonia/nitrite/nitrate levels? How often do you do your water changes? Your knife isn't the only fish in way too small a tank there, if I were you I'd consider upsizing your tank or downsizing your fish population.

well i guess i can post that my clown is in a 55 gallon with full health and 340 gallons of filtration water changes but my black knife died thanks for all the help
