How long for Ich to cure?

Hi,
My littlest Fantail has a slight case of ich. He has three small dots on his tail and one on his pectoral fin. He is currently in the "hospital" being treated. I wonder what's the approx timeframe. He seems so lonely and I hope he can return to his friends soon. Thanks.

When I use Nox ich and 5 tablespoons per 5 gals of water (just once on the salt) I use the Nox ich for three days this is normally gone with in the three days. I dont change the water in those three days and I take out any filter media.

Thanks for the quick reply. I remember you recommendin Noxich way back while I was reading old messages. I could find any at my lfs. I got this stuff from Jungle called Gold Care Ick care. Says it clears ick quick, but doesnt say how long to treat. I guess I just treat til the spots are gone????

I'm glad this place has help out so many people. This is why I wanted to build this place is so that every one can join together and lend a hand.
I do want to say that if anyone can help out! This message board runs out at the end of the month so if anyone can find a couple of bucks to help fund it its greatly appreciated.
