Try very hard to slow down as you type - typos can make if difficult to get a proper workup on the patient - and may lead to mistakes or time consuming repetition or catastrophic errors.
Punch was subjected to high heat.
Punch had a tail injury from a tramatic mechanical injury.
He then had white spots on his tail and the scales have lifted a bit.
You treated with Maracide and MaracynII - full rounds of each.
You removed the Maracide and MAracynII with carbon.
Youare currently treating with Furan2, which is a combination of 2 Furan antibiotics for gram positive and negative bacteria.
The "pimple" responded to the MaracynII and Maracide treatments but reappeared. The tail has shredded further. The scales are "uneven" - does this mean they are slightly lifted in places?

NONONONO- I am not yelling- the system did the enlaregement- notice the different fonts- If I were yelling I would not dress it up wioth wasting time with different fonts LOL- I have the new beta explorer and I believe the system on your end is having trouble with handling it- it will not accept mu;tiple images- as well- zipped as wewell it will not accept- nonono- There was no yelling or anger- why would I do that- - on my end I made no changes to the size or type of fonty- and as well only accepts- on this end - 1 image to send- if I attempt another-- it duplicates the first image saved and makes two identicval to send thru- sorry for the misunderstanding and what it was looking like lol

I dont know if he is getting dropsy but if it is then you need to treat for that before his kidneys give up.
The lifting of the scales i can see in the pic are around the front of his pectoral fins.
You may need to start treatment for dropsy. The relevant information I think is in the treatment area.

That said, since I have read your other threads (sorry to hear of the mess) I would keep tight reign on the water, temps and start a medicated food as Sandy suggested.

Eric: I would also suggest that, if you havent alreadt, you hold off touching Punch whilst he is under the weather to avoid spreading any infection he might have or interferring with his slime coat.

second really goldfish shouldn't be touched unless its necessary, every time u stick ur hand in there water what ever u have on your skin gets in there water, also when u touch them, u take there slim coat and that is a bearer they need against disease and infections.....

This was my first thought also - if you have anything on your hands doubled with constant touching/removing the slime coat, you end up possibly removing the very thing that's there to protect Punch.
I know one of Daryl's fish received a nasty wound from it's original handler accidently causing trauma to the scale and she had to fight for some time to help him heal. It's just too risky, espcially when you think of the bacteria that lives in the tank's environment. I hope he's doing better though and look forward to receiving an update

I had been wanting to ask if it wasn't damaging to Punch's slime coat to touch/pet him like on the videos.....but I thought since I am new and there are so many knowledgeable members here that I must be mistaken.It makes sense if you need to weaken a slime coat to administer some medicines,then weakening it would allow all sorts of bacteria to assault the poor fish.......
