My pearlscale's tail has always been "fused" at the top. It doesn't split and look like butterfly wings like in my other goldies. I never really thought about it until now. He has always been like this, I found a video from the day my mom surprised me with him so I know it didn't happen after I got him.Have any of you seen a goldfish with a tail that only splits at the bottom?

4 of my fish have fused or partially fused top lobes. It's quite a common fault in gf.

I think its neat. lol. I like the way it looks more than I like a true fantail.
