Ok, occasionally I'll buy Anacharis for my goldies and am never to concerned about keeping it alive because they eat it so fast but today I bought a few Umbrella Plants (Spathiphyllum wallsii) I just planted them in my gravel... The gravel is also brand new so I have a sneaking suspicion they won't live very long... Am I right? I just planted them an hour or so ago... How long will they live? Is there anything I can do to keep them alive? The tank sits under a window that gets nice morning light. Otherwise no other direct light hits it. Haha, thanks I feel like sort of dumb.

It looks somewhat like that. No flowers or anything. Most of the leaves are smooth... One or two of them look sort of like that.... Is it poison? Lol. I was just doing some reading... Is this something I need to take out like RIGHT NOW...

spathiphyllums are purely terrestrial, not aquatic plants. They'll inevitably die if kept underwater.

So, are Spathiphyllum wallsii and Spathiphyllum wallisii the same plant or different... Typing in "Spathiphyllum wallisii" gave me information of Peace Lillys but typing in "Spathiphyllum wallsii" gave me information on Umbrella Plants. The bottle the plant came in says it's an Umbrella Plant... I'm kind of confused...

Ok, I took most of the old plants out and got a few new ones. Ones that I bought from OUT of a tank of water so I know that's where they belong

Moneywort and a banana plant. Obviously my gravel is still brand new so there are no nutrients buried in the soil for the plants. What can I do to keep them alive? The tank gets real light in the morning to afternoon hours.
