One looks like a type of sword and the other is grassy. The sword-ish one has a little stem with flower buds coming off it.

The one on the left looks like an Echinodorus (Amazon sword)... the one in the right seems like mondo grass or another type of bog plant...

Hmm, so I was right about the one being a sword. Its a nice size for only $2.99. I set up co2 the other day and the flower stem thing is getting roots off it but I'm not going to try to separate it because I want the flower to bloom. I was doing some looking on aquatic plant websites and I think the grass one is acorus variegatus. Its not mondo grass, I've owned mondo grass and it is much prettier. lol.

Your plants are relly nice! What is that interesting fish in front of the grassy plant?

Senegal bichir or cuvier bichir.

My plants are doing good. The amazon sword grew a baby! It has two leaves and 3 root growing off it. I will split it soon.

Glad your plants are doing fine! I looked up more info on the Senegal bichir... what a wonderful fish!
