do all snails poo almost constantly? mine seems to make the tank filthy in a day or two.
Yes, snails are quite the little "poop" machines aren't they! 
yeah i always figured snails were a kind of constant 'in one end, out the other' kinda creature.
Snails are as messy as GF in my experience
I agree, many people buy them to clean up the algae, which they may or may not do. Instead they make more mess.
