Hi, i just bought a Nitrite test kit by Aquarium Pharmaceuticals (the one in the pink box) and it doesnt have a colour chart! it says it's supposed to in the instructions (compare the colour of the solution to the chart...etc) like the other tests i have, but the chart isnt in my box.

Anyways, to the point.. i didnt get a receipt in my lfs for some reason and i really dont want to have to drive all the way back there for what will seem like the millionth time in a week, so is there anyone out there who has that same test kit and could take a pic of/scan their colour chart and either post it here or email it to me???

it would be really really apprieciated!!!!!

or could someone at least tell me what colour is Zero, so i know if i have a problem or not?

Thanks so much

I feel so ripped off, but just have had enough with faulty/incomplete gear and am sick of going back to the lfs

Zero is a very very light blue.

What color are you getting?

I am sure I have an extra one kicking around. Let me look in the morning when I open the fish room again. IF I have one, I will send it to you.....

I get a new one practically every other month when I buy the kit. I have it taped inside my fish notebook - so I toss the new charts.....

Oh that would be great! but you dont have to send it to me, i'm all the way in england and i dont want to cause you hassle. If you could just photograph or scan it and pm the pic then i would be able to look the readings up on my computer, that would be just fine! smile.gif

It's really light transparent blue. I take it that's safe. Thanks

Ok - in that case, I will just take a picture of the one I use all the time. I will go out in the daylight to get the best color match. It is raining but still a good bright day.

I will have it done in an hour.....
