here are the new ones i ordered a blue but got a dark purple insted so my idea for blue and magenta doesnt work so i have magenta:

they are in a smaller aquarium right now b/c i am afraid (especially about the magenta) that they will get lost in my tank some of the rocks are larger than the magenta so i am hoping they will grow a little and in a week they will be big enough to go in the main tank.
i didnt think they would be this small but they are sooo cute elephant was the first one to start exploring i really wanted a blue but the dark purple is pretty too so ill have to live with that

well if you can think of any names that would be great(i am thinking about royal for the dark purple one (b/c perple is a royal color) but i am not sure

I love your snails, they are beautiful! How about Caesar as a name for your purple snail? The Caesars in anicent Rome were the only ones allowed to sign anything in purple ink to ensure no one was forging laws, and they got the purple ink from mollusks.

Whoohooo! Snailie's--They are all very pretty. "Purple People Eater" is coming to mind for the purple snail! heheh.

i got a new light for my tank yesterday(which ticked my mom off but oh well)so i put them in the main tank ill post a pick (eventhough you wont be able to see them anyway) in the non planted sectionin a few minutes

i like ceaser for the purple but i still need a name for the haustrum so keep thinking

Your new snails are beautiful! They are tiny, just like mine when I got them, but they do grow fast with the proper diet. Just make sure they get enough calcium so their shells grow nice and strong with them.

Well, I tried.

they get a calcium suppliment in the tank every night and for some reason hammy comes to mind so i think i will name the haustrum that well ill keep you updated with pics when they grow

Your snails are real pretty We not able to get different coloured snails here in Australia. Are you going to try and breed them?

i might try to breed them and sell them to this local petstore we have that takes good care of their fish but i amnot sure. yes i know they grow fast they already have new shell growth thanks

Good luck with them, and if you want to breed them for profit good luck. I have tried it, it's almost impossible. Check with your LFS to see how much you would get first, then if you want give it a go. It's super easy to do.
