I've been researching oscars for a new tank(I figured I'd let my husband pick a fish for once) and I've found that some oscar keepers like to soak their food with liquid centrum vitamins for humans and they say it makes them healthier and less susceptible to disease(like hole in the head), etc.
So my brain started thinking... I wonder if the same could be done for goldies? Has anyone used a vitamin supplement like this for their goldies?

Well I am by no means an expert but YES I have used Centrum vits (with iron- hope that was okay)in gel food for my goldies. Crushed them up and blended them. I used a recipe version of member kilas which includes human vit tabs and thats what I have in the house so thats what I used. I ned to make more gel food....

i imaigine that it would be ok, because if it's ok for oscars, then it should be ok for som other fish.

Some people call for dog vitamins in their gel food, so why not I guess.
