My male betta just started getting this blueish metalic color on his tail. It has the same powder metalic feel but is blue instead of pink. He has also gotten a bit of blue grizzle. What do I call him now? Cambodian or multicolor or multi color camdodian?

I almost want to breed him to see what his babies look like. I have a spawn sister so I might do it. The pair I have in the spawn tank right now have been in with each other for 7 days and there is no progress so I might switch them out and put this guy in.

Edit: Just needed to fix spelling.

Wow! Nice!

It's nice you have time to breed them I wouldn't have time to breed them if I wanted too.

Here is an old flash photo so that it is easier to compair. This on is even older than the first two.

If I had to make up a name for his color I would call it Velvet Mermaid. His grizzle color makes me think of a mermaid tail, the powdery sparkle makes me think of something magical or mythical, and his fins are very dark like a red velvet throw I have.

I placed him in with a multi color female. The female from my last spawn.

Even With the color change he is still gorgeous. It will be interesting to see what color fry he throws off
