Yeah but I dont think iceberg is good. Romaine they will eat usually though. The peas, put into a bowl with a little water, microwave 15 seconds. Take the shells off and smush a bit before giving to your fish. Do you only have one fish?

But to answer your question, Goldie's can go 3-4 Day's without food.

Mine have gone almost a week when I was in Puerto Rico but as I told her in her other misplaced thread, depends on how long it has gone without food already.

Well Im sorry to hear that you lost your fish already, Only after one day. What kind of setup did you have it in? Seems odd to me that he/she would just die after one day?

i had it in some little jar that is what it came in and my mom was going to buy food for it but it just died

If you get another fish you need at least a 10 gallon tank with good filtration.

Thats probably the reason
Goldfish need at most 10 gallons of space each with proper filteration(100 gph per 10 gallons would be adequete)

I really suggest doing some reading on the basics (and I am sure anyone here would be happy to answer questions for you) if you are considering getting another. You will continue to have bad luck with them until that's been done. Sorry to hear about your fish
