roxy0306

glitterfish
Do you have any frozen peas? I would recommend getting food tomorrow.
roxy0306
ok i will try to get frozen peas tonight thank for your help and can gold fish have lettuce?
glitterfish
Yeah but I dont think iceberg is good. Romaine they will eat usually though. The peas, put into a bowl with a little water, microwave 15 seconds. Take the shells off and smush a bit before giving to your fish. Do you only have one fish?
roxy0306

Hi Roxy-

This thread will more than likely get moved, As it is in the wrong place.

But to answer your question, Goldie's can go 3-4 Day's without food.

glitterfish
Mine have gone almost a week when I was in Puerto Rico but as I told her in her other misplaced thread, depends on how long it has gone without food already. glare.gif

roxy0306
oh my god it is dead and i just got it yesterday
froggydella
Well Im sorry to hear that you lost your fish already, Only after one day. What kind of setup did you have it in? Seems odd to me that he/she would just die after one day? unsure.gif
roxy0306
i had it in some little jar that is what it came in and my mom was going to buy food for it but it just died
glitterfish
If you get another fish you need at least a 10 gallon tank with good filtration.

Thats probably the reason unsure.gif
Goldfish need at most 10 gallons of space each with proper filteration(100 gph per 10 gallons would be adequete)

I really suggest doing some reading on the basics (and I am sure anyone here would be happy to answer questions for you) if you are considering getting another. You will continue to have bad luck with them until that's been done. Sorry to hear about your fish sad.gif
