I have a elite stingray 5 ( http://www.petdiscounters.com/files/images/d_5840.jpg ) which i want to add to my hexagonal 3gal betta tank but the water flow out of the filter is too strong for the fish.
So i was wondering if anyone had any good ideas of slowing the current/outflow down.

The outlet isn't made to fit normal spray bars, and due to the shape and small size of the tank (similar to this one http://www.hagen.com/img/aquatic/products/a1543.jpg ) there isn't room to add long bars.

Any help or ideas are much appreciated.

Hi - i have the same filter for my Betta. I just turned the top thingy right around so that it was pointing directly at the wall it was attached to. If you did this into a corner, it would be even better. If not, you could also somehow attach some filter sponge to the outflow to disperse it.

Hope this helps!
Dana.
