I have been convincing my parents for a pond. We finally built one on a slope in my backyard. Hope I can take pictures but no camera. Well we got the hole dug out and the liner. It is about 550 gallons. We are making a waterfall with the outflow of the filter. Been doing some research on waterfalls but can't really find a step by step procedure. Any tips? I've got flat rocks for the waterfall already. I just need a design or an idea on how Iam going to start. Thank you in advance smile.gif

Congratulation on your pond! I hope it brings you years of pleasure.

Sorry no direct experience building a waterfall. Here's a fairly good brief description of the steps you should follow: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/pic/article....tid=323&aid=225

If it was my pond, I would also stick some water loving plants within the water fall. You can wash off all the soil, and just stick them inbetween the rocks. Not only does it look beautiful, the plants also help with the water filtration. They use up nitrates and provide oxygen to the water during day time. smile.gif
