i own a pentair aquastep 15w uvs. i've had it since march of this year. does anyone know how often i should replace the uvs bulb? the light indicator indicates there still life and has not blown yet. i just wanted to know what is the life span of the uvs bulbs.

Most of the company suggest to replace every one year. I replace mine every 10 months.

SR: what uvs do you own?
vmlola
smile.gif I got the one sold on Goldfishconnection and Rick suggest replacing the bulb every 12 months.

vmola: i was thinking about upgrading my pentair uvs to goldfishconnection. goldfishconnection website only has the back view of the uvs. would you by any change have pics of the front, top, and water pump?

I'm on my way out right now but later today I will take a few shots and post them. I was a little thrown when I got this as I did not know how big it would be. I had never seen one before. But it fit on the back of my tank with everything else I have and was fine. Very easy to set up because they have done everything for you. The pump is included.

It might be late tonight as I'm not sure what time I will get home today but I'll get some for you.

I'm not sure what you need to see Fondoo, but if this does not do it let me know and I'll see if I can take other pics! But its very hard to photograph the uv from the back as its so close to the wall.
This first pic is a side view, end of uv sticking out, you can see how it hangs on the back of 80 gal tank.

The pump thats included, shot taken from front of tank.

Mine sits just like your pics on your other thread and the pvc pipes are not lined up totally straight either. Sounds like that is how they are made. Don't you love it?
