My friend that has been giving me the fish from her tank as she prepares to move just came by with another three bags of fish. One bag contains an albino pleco. Hes about 2 1/2 in long. Can he be in with goldfish? If not he will stay with his tank buddies in one of my tropical tanks.

Thanks! smile.gif

hm... does the 'albino' refer only to his colour? If so, then he also has a species name and then we can help you. If not, then well... I dunno tongue.gif sorry. All I know is no common plecs with goldies.

sorry I'm not a plec expert... just thought I'd offer my 2 cents tho...

The 2nd pic is a female--- most of the other's with whiskers are males.Does the Plec look like these?Usually the only other Pleco that you see around is the Albino Chocolate Pleco, and he's not really albino.http://images.google.com/images?svnum=10&h...ose&btnG=Search

smile.gif Yes Sharon, the 5th pic looks just like the one she gave me. I kept it in the tropical tank with the other fish she has given me. I'll just leave it there until I figure out how to prevent more plecos from jumping out of the tank. Thanks for the pics and info.
