I haven't posted since May so its nice to be back!

I have a problem: I have a 25 gallon tank with Caesar, my big Broad-tailed Moor in it and thats all. Over the past year I've had three residents at different times living with him. And if you look at my signature you'll see that half of my fish fatalaties are because Caesar has killed them. I just lost my two inch panda telescope and I've about had it. I'm wondering if I get a non-telescope eyed goldfish to live in the tank if Caesar will leave it alone. Caesar is an enormous 5.3 inch long male and very regal and very aggressive. Will it be possible to put any other goldfish in there with him? Say a Comet about his size so he can compete?

Any input would be welcomed.....I'm at a loss unsure.gif

Perhaps you can get a different tank and leave Ceasar be? He sounds like he doesn't enjoy company.

I wouldn't chance it anymore at all. I think Ceasar may be a loner

I guess you're both right. I was hoping that maybe with a larger fish he'd be better but I'd rather be safe than sorry

WOW, i have heard of runkins being agressive and mauling other goldies eating eyes and things, but a mauling agitated moor? this is a first for me...yeppers i think ceasar needs to be alone!!!

Mabe you should get a 10 gallon for the moor and then you will have room for 2 other goldies in the 25 gallon.
