Today i noticed one of my zebra wasn't swimming around with the other zebras so i took a closer look at he has what i think is a bite mark, one of my tetras also has a much smaller mark i am trying to find out who bit them but untill then, what should i do with the hurt fish, i don't want them to get sick.

what other fish are in the tank?
Crush
Sandy is right on track.

But it would help if we knew the tank size, and the params.

sry about the delay It is a 30 gallon tank, there are 2 tetras, 2 zebras and too many platies (they had fry that i am trying to sell), there is one betta but he is very nice, i haven't seen him even touch another fish. I have a larger zebra who has been chaseing other fish, i think he might have been the problem.

Danios are aggressive fish if they arent in large numbers. You should get another 6 of them and another 6 tetras as these need others as well. The danios aggression can then be spread through more fish so less damage.

Thank You both! smile.gif

Should be ok, if its the biggest one then its probably a female. I think their breeding habits are a bit aggressive as well.

i highly agree with sandy but sometimes it can be parisites munching away at the fish for years without you knowing!

I thought danios were really fun fish to watch, until yesterday. They have been systematically killing my white clouds. I thought the plec was killing them at night but i watched my danios pick on them and attack them.
Ive now moved them to the 34 gallon with the Kribs.
