I dont know if I am going to get in trouble for this, or if it is in the right place but..
My friend emailed Hikeri and asked if they could send some samples of their fish food. We never got an email back so we figured that they wont send any. Well I went to get the mail the other day and there was an envolpe from Hikari. I opened it and found SAMPLES! YAY! I am going to see if my fish like them, and if they do then I am going to start ordering them (cant find any place that sells them arouind here). My fish are really picky and have turned down 2 different foods already, but I doubt they will turn these down!
So just a little tip, for any one that wants to try their food, or maybe just wants some samples. And who knows maybe wardley and tetra and others do it to!

did vendors at the MidWest and MidAtlantic show do that? Do they give samples away all through the show or just on the last day? I went to my first show in Pennsylvania this year, but didn't stay long once I bought my fish.

That was a real good thing to do as most companies will give out samples to promote their products!
Glad they came through for you!

Thanks for the info. Even I cannot find Hikari fish food, in my LFS. I must try to order on line. Never have done that before:)
