Can anyone give me an idea on what kind of plants and fish go together. I have a 200g that I am going to be setting back up. I used to have every kind of cichlid emaginable in this tank from oscars to Africans. I am setting it up with non agressive fish this time. I want to know what kind of fish are not going to tear up the plants. What kind of lighting I am going to need. The tank is going to be in a wall cut out below three recest lights. Is that going to be enough or am I going to need to add actinics or metal halides? For 12 years this tank was a community tank with just 4 flourescent tubes. I am new to plants and lighting. Just looking for some thoughts.

Well as for goldfish in general its all up to the fish its self. They are unpredictable
I have three in my planted tank that wouldn't hurt them but there are two others in my other tanks and man they will destroy a sword plant in mins.
