From now on, I'll be looking twice a month through the goldfish/koi club page and aquarium societies list, and will post any upcoming shows here. That way more people will get to know when a show will come up in their neighborhood.
But I could use some help - if anybody knows of an upcoming show, please post it here. With some teamwork we'll get a nice continued list together. And you'll never know - maybe we'll meet some fellow Kokonians at some of those shows!

I try to keep all the show dates 3 months in adavance, so everybody can plan ahead. For bigger events and shows, they'll be "hanging out" here all year long.

Alrighty, lets have that same head start for 2008! Not much going on just yet, we just started this year, but it'll get busy in here, especially with all the societies' spring shows and auctions coming up!

So, I have started posting the dates/locations in this area, but due to the enormous number of shows and clubs, only the ones that will be held within the next 4 months will be visible. Otherwise it would be just too much for you guys to weed through.
There are plenty more that you might just not see yet, and if you cant' find your club, just PM me or post it here, and I see if I have it or not. There are literally 100s out there, but I am sure I still might miss one or two here and there. It takes hours and hours to go through all the club/society links, and accumulate all the dates and details.

So, watch out for some fun this year! Oh, in case anybody wanders what "AS" means in a lot of those show dates - that is "Aquarium Society". I am just too lazy to write that one out every single time.

Are there any in Virginia/DC/Maryland/close to there?

The New England Water Garden and Ornamental Fish Show will be held on June 14-15, 2008 at the Mallory Arena at the Eastern States Exhibition Grounds in West Springfield, Massachusetts

There's going to be a koi and goldfish show in Indianapolis June 20-22. Here's a link to the page about it NMZNA Koi & Goldfish Show and it's sponsored by these guys AGA's Goldfish Pages who have some more show dates on their website. Last year I missed the indy show because I didn't know about it so I don't know how good it is, but I will definitely be going this year and reporting back!

Thanks, Imber! I have all the show dates that are on the AGA website, I just haven't posted all of them yet since they are still too far ahead in the year. I hope you are enjoying yourself at the show - if the show is on the AGA's website, then you most likely will meet one of their judges. One rule - and that one can't be broken! - BRING YOUR CAMERA AND TAKE PICTURES! I don't want to get out the if you forget...

There are 2 shows in Singapore some time in June 2008. One for Fancy Goldfish and another for Top View Ranchu. Will update all when the details are confirmed by the various clubs.

Mary, the shows are right under this very thread in the message board section. This thread here and another one are pinned, and under those two are all the show dates within the next 3 months.
