I went to Melbourne earlier this week and went into one of the Aquarium shops in the city to buy some plants, when I noticed a small tank filled with apple snails. I went over to have a look and noticed that one of the apple snails had a blue body with a yellow shell. In Australia we can only get snails with a yellow body and shell, and recently I saw some snails being sold with yellow bodies and a brown shell, but never a yellow shell with blue body.

I did order some different coloured snails from someone at applesnail.net about a year and a half ago but instead of getting the snails, I got a 'no, no' letter from Australian customs

So I'm very excited about my blue snail

your apple snails are awsome.. i have three of them and they are just beautiful.. espcially the color is so bright yellow
