That's sad sad.gif I had 50+ and now have 11 left so ended up losing many...

How is your water?
Do you have a filter for them?
Plenty of air?
Do you feed them regularly?
Are the temps good?

How did u lose so many, Jen?

I think it had something to do with their genetic makeup. I don't think ranchu's and orandas are meant to breed yet mine did ohmy.gif Either that or it was survival of the fittest - i'm just not sure headscratch.gif

sad.gif Sorry to hear about your fry.I think Jen's got a point-survival of the fittest for sure.
Fry are really sensitive too to params, matching temps and water changes etc.Hopefully that last one makes it for you.

Sorry to hear about your fry. I found myself in the same situation you are in. I had about 2 dozen fry to start and most of them died within a couple of months. I had 2 that lasted much longer even though one of them was tiny compared to the other. Finally Squirt passed away (abnormal mouth and gill development) but I'm happy to say his sibling is still going strong 10 months later!! smile.gif

Good luck with your fry! I hope at least one of them makes it! heartpump.gif
