I was just wondering if it was ok to put a gold nugget pleco in a tank with goldfish? I have three comet goldfish in a tank with a gold nugget pleco. The pleco isnt very big, I order supplies from a site called liveaquaria.com I found this compatibility chart, if everyone would like to look at it.

I dont know if they are or not but sure love the gold nuggets. Great looking pleco. Found some here once they wanted 40 bucks each for them. How big do they get? I know they are very secretive fish. And love drift wood.

Is the tank at a tropical temperature?

I bought my gold nugget pleco for 32.99, so ya they are a little expensive. They get to be 1 1/2-2 1/2 inches. Sandy I keep my tank at 68 degrees.

like some plecos, they could do ok, i don't have any myself but i've heard of people having them in with their goldies and nothing happened, but to the other side of that, i've heard that the gold nugget pleacos have attacked peoples goldies, ripping off scales etc...., so i'm not sure, if your plecos are doing good in with them you probley can get away with it

He doesnt seem to be bothering them, in fact he seems a litte shy of them. The only thing he does is stick to the front of the tank or hides under a big piece of driftwood. I call him "kissy face"

because of the way his mouth moves when he eats...lol

With 3 comets and a plec in a 10 gallon you are going to have problems. Im sure you are aware that comets grow to over a foot long and need huge tanks.
The gold nugget is a shy plec and wont bother your goldies at all in fact he may become stressed with these faster moving fish.
It also will be too cold for him as the tank is only at 20c. These fish are tropicals and do better at 24-26c.
