Hi everyone,

I'm finding some what seems like semi transparent string attached to my plants around my filter heater area of my tank evey morning for the last 3 days. I don't see anything of the kind during the day.
It was attached to a plant that's been there for a while. I added a new plant yesterday and this morning the string was attached to the new plant. Could this be algea ?

All my fish are very active and seem healthy.

It sounds like it's goldfish poop? Sometimes when i notice my fish are a bit constipated, their stringy poop gets on my plants as well... If your fish are constipated make sure you soak all your food before feeding and you might want to try to feed them a de-shelled pea.

Yes i tried feeding a pea but i haven't seen any difference. I'll try not feeding for 2 days and then giving them a pea.

They all seem to be healthy and happy but i don't see much poo coming out of them.
