I just bought 2 packages of frozen food (1 bloodworm, 1 daphnia) by Hikari. Problem is that they fall completely apart once in the tank, and I'm worried about water conditions. Anyone have any tips for feeding these?

i dont have frozen dafnia bit i do have hikari frozen bloodworms and what i do is i have a tube i feed my gf with and in a small amount of tank water i let the chunck unthaw and then i pour it down the tube and it goes down the tube and into the tank they eat it up pretty quickly and any peices they miss they pich up usually within an hour of feeding time i also have a dish in the bottom that is under the tube so they fall on the dish so most get eaten right away so they dont get lost in the gravel only a few het lost in there(and like i said before they pic those peices up wihin an hour)

For me, I am using bloodworm and unthaw it in a small cup with tank water. After 10 min, I give them. I am also interesting in how to feed daphnia also.

For the bloodworms, I've been just breaking off a little chunk and dropping it in the tank.

The fish seem to enjoy "hunting" the little pieces as the melt off and sink. They good enough about bottom foraging they seem to find all of them pretty quickly.
