Hi guys, im getting a couple of bubble eyes on tuesday biggrin.gif

should bubble eye tanks be completly bare? i was thinking of putting pebbles in, theyre completly smooth and round, with no sharp edges.

I have my bubble eye in my planted tank. Shes doing great. I think smooth gravel will be okay. Make sure you dont have Plastic plants in there that are even slightly sharp. Make sure that it can get caught up in the filter intake, if so Get the net meshing from a net and string tie it to the intake so that it wont be to rough on the eye sacs. Oh and ornaments are a no no with these guys sad.gif

I got 1 bubble eye goldie in a nice real & silk plant tank. He does great in there, seems like his sacs are unbreakable rofl3.gif
