Hi everybody! A friend was getting rid of spare aquarium stuff and gave me an Eclipse 1 hood in perfect condition. I was very lucky because had got my old 10g tank out of the closet and set it up as my crayfish tank biggrin.gif ... Well, I have a few questions and I hope some of you have experience with this equipment because I have null (I have been faithful to aquaclear filters since before I joined Koko's forum). Here are my Qs:

(1) the inlet tube is a bit slanted to the right. Is this normal? If not, how can I get it perpendicular to the bottom of the tank?

(2) the water flow seems very strong. Is there a way of regulating the flow rate?

Thanks!

It's ok if the inlet tube is a bit slanted, it will still work. If you pull it out and put it back in you may be able to get it straight.

If the eclipse is the same as my the aqua one's then there is no way of reducing the water flow unless you buy another smaller power head.

Thanks Fishmerised! Do you know what brand of power heads fits the eclipse hoods?
