Dumb question but
do guppies and betta fish go well together?

I hear male bettas will get along okay with the females but not with the males because male guppies have long flashy tails. I've also heard that they do get along well with both sexes of guppy. I think it really depends mostly on the individual betta.

in my 10 gal tank alone,Betta can stay in 5 gal

I agree, male bettas and any other "showy" sorts of fish, esp. types with longer fins, don't go well together. Male bettas don't like competition for the prettiest fish in the tank. tongue.gif

im just going to stay with goldfish and bettas for know.
