I am embarrassed to post here since it has been so long and I haven't had pictures...please, spare me the Koko stick!

I haven't said much about my moor lately, crossing fingers and fins that he would make it through qt after losing two other moors after only a day or so each. Well...doo doo doo DOO (horn sound)...he made it! Bart will be moving from qt tonight into his new home in the 20 gallon with Lisa, my calico telescope! I think the combo of him being the third moor (third time's a charm) and having three parents (thanks to co-parents Kissy and Jeana727), he is happy, healthy and growing!

Lisa has probably doubled in size since I got her, so she is quite a bit bigger than Bart, but hopefully they will get along well.

I am trying to decide if I should move Bart's ornament over to the new tank so he has something familiar to hide in. He has a tie-dyed vase-like thing that has holes in it and he hangs out in there a bit, and the 20 gallon just has caves in it with open sides, so I was wondering if I should move that over to make him feel more "at home"? Any thoughts?

Also, other than making sure the temp and ph are the same, is there anything else I should do to acclimate him?

And I promise a post in Photos once he is moved! I swear, I really do!

I am moving him over in a few minutes I think. I decided to move his ornament into the new tank, at least for awhile. I know it will be kind of "off" the decor theme, but who cares, as long as the little guy is happy?

The only thing I am worried about is that the two fish eat differently. Lisa eats from the top of the tank and Bart from the bottom, which is not sucj a big deal other than I want Lisa to learn to eat from the bottom. Right now she eats Omega One sinking pellets as her main staple, but I make them float for her... But I am worried about Bart's eating since he is used to eating from the bottom of a bare-bottom tank and his new tank has gravel that is too big for him to root through. I may have to use a plate/tray for him, I will have to watch closely.

But I am so excited to move him!

LOL, how did this end up in water chemistry? It was mostly just an update, I guess I should've asked the question in Tanks? Oh well!

They are both in the 20 now and seem to be getting on ok. A lot of initial butt chasing and such, and a little bullying by the moor, which is funny because he is smaller! I shall update tomorrow WITH photos. :-)

I loooove your little moore!! As far as feeding from diffrent parts of the tank I wouldnt think it is that big of an issue. My four all root around and accuse me of starving them. THey are intellegent fish, I dont think your gonna have too much trouble with it at any rate. Congrats

Lisa is a calico telescope, and Bart is ablack moor. I think that moor is just a special word for black telescopes, as far as I know. They are both kinda chubby lol, they eat like pigs! :-)
