For past three days I have been searching for my third little plec.I can find my big one and my original one however the other one is nowhere to be seen.I have checked under the fluval 3plus where he and the female always hung out during the day no sign of him.I looked in the flowerpot where the airstone is as he used to hang round in there still no signs. He doesn't seem to be in the bamboo tunnel either as my moor would have chased him out.Hes not near the other fluval either.I haven't found a body so where can he be or should I assume hes dead sad.gif

Im sorry that you cant find the little bugger. What kind of fish do you have with him? Could be have been eaten? Is there a top on the tank so he couldnt have leapt out?

No way he could have jumped out I have wooden hoods on my goldie tanks. He is/was in with Dyson,Cyclops and Chance(moor, fantail and lionhead)They are a very shy breed of fish and are nocturnal by nature tho one male comes out everytime I feed the goldies. They prefer to swim away and hide.I changed plants in my tank I hope he wasn't in one of them as I changed them at the weekend ohmy.gif I will have to check them in morning I hope I don't find him in them coz I will feel like I murdered him if he is in them.

Uh oh, There is almost always a body, trust me, I had all my fish die as a result. Are there any hollow ornaments he could get into? We had a Fairly odd parents castle airator and he got in there and died, we couldnt find him and his body fould up the tank killing the goldfish. Ive also seen fish get trapped in airators at the petstore. . . It may not be the case with you but it happens, I hope you find the guy! could he have gotten in your filter?

I use Fluval plus filters the inlet to these filters are grill covered so no chance of that.I have a hollow bamboo log one little male plec hides in it and shoots out at feeding time I can't see anything in the bamboo but I will lift it out and check it tomorrow.Dyson my moor swims through the log so is little guy was there am sure Dyson would have pushed him out.As there is a big hole in middle besides end holes and all I see is empty tunnel.
