i just bought 4 new apple snails...
before i let them in the tank i did what everyone should do... float the bag for blah blah blah blah....
anyways first two that i bought dont come out of their shells.... its been a day now...
today i bought two more and these ones are very active.... but they both seem to act like the first two now, they just stay in their shells half closed...
i did water parameter checks and everything is fine

Hi and welcome. Could you possibly give me actual param readings for your tank? What size tank-does it have filtration and a heater? How long has the tank been set up?
Sometimes new snails will do this for a day or two,but just to be safe,we'll look into the othe areas such as water quality just to make sure.

Well,PH and Ammonia are good, but you really should invest in a Master Kit so you have the Nitrite and Nitrate readings. Snails can be pretty vulnerable to those numbers if they're out of whack.
It's a good sign that two are running around.Snai;s are funny things, and I do have to admit that sometimes certain ones do take a bit longer when getting brave enough to come out. What kind of fish do you have in the tank by chance?
