I finally found five. Girls are hard to find in my area for some reason. They are still in their cups because I have not set up the 10 gal tank, but I'll do that tomorrow. They are really pretty and look alert and healthy looking.

Question, how do I know that everybody gets enough food? Do I watch them eat?

And yes, pics to come too...... rolleyes.gif

hurry on pics

smile.gif I always watch my fish eat when I first put the food into the tank, just to make sure everyones getting enough and the real "Piggies" are not getting everything. Once you get into that habit you will always do it.

Congrats on your new girls and we'll be waiting for pics! smile.gif

I have a female set up too. Use to be 5 but its now only 3 girls for me. Just throw food it. You can watch if you have the time. I just get all 3 of mine to come over to the top right corner and once they are all there I put the food in and leave. Sometimes when I'm bored I watch. So far they all seem to get enough.

Can't wait to see pictures.

I'm having a hard time getting pics of these gals. They shoot around so fast, plus they tend to hide when I come close with the camera. So far I have not seen any of them fighting. They actually hang out together a lot or in groups of three. One is so pretty. She has stripes. No names yet. I'm still watching them to see what personality each has. heartpump.gif

wow they are pretty nice pics and video
how do u keep the tank clean
Monkeygirl
Betta tanks are so much easier to clean than goldfish. It really does not get very messy at all. This tank was already cycled and I had just done a partial water change and suctioned the gravel before I added the girls.
