Sorry goldie lover, I know nothing about guppys. However I am going to move your thread to the tropical section. We have members and mods that can help in that area.
Good luck.

It takes around 30 days and the amount can vary between female to female.

I've got three female guppies and I get babies about every two to three weeks, I think the gestation perios is around a month. Mine have anywhere from 3 to 15 babies at a time.

ok well first off i had this move to the tropical section. I dont know how long the gestation period is but i know that they will have any where from 10-25 guppies. A female guppie can have babies at least 5 times a year.

Also, you will have to seperate the adult guppies from the fry guppies because the adults eat their young.

Good luck with the guppies

Also one more question i can think of one of my baby guppies that my female gave birth to, two days ago and the baby is black i think it will be awsome

they wil change color most likely unless they are female then they will stay blackish colored but not black how many did you say you had if you only have about 10 they should be ok in a 10g for a while but they cant stay in there forever when they get big enough you should sell them to the petstore if you cant keep them all. they are also called the millions fish b/c they have so many babieseven if you remove the males it is still likely the females will have babies b/c they can store sperm for quite a while and the gestation period is about 30 days so really they could have a batch every month about some have more babies some have less it all depends on the female and yes do remove them b/c the parents will loooove some fry for lunch if you dont plan on keeping them or you cant get rid of them leave them in there and that will lower your numbers.(i know that sound harsh but it is true alot of people i know do that so they dont have to feed for a few days and they wont have extra fish they cant keep.)

My females normally will have their babies every 20-30 days. The earliest was 15-17 days (but that hasn't happened that early since the one time). I have never had more than about 5 - 10 fry at once, but I have read from several places online they can have upwards of 25 fry at once. My oldest female tends to have slightly more than the younger ones.

They will continue to have fry at least once a month as long as their is a male with them, and then they can continue to have fry for up to 6 or 7 more times after all males are removed.

Continuing on what ilovefish said.... My fry rarely were eaten if they were left in the big tank. A few weeks would go by without seeing any fry and then there would be another young adult out of the blue! Mine were given to a few people who asked for a few batches, and any extras I would move to one of my betta's tanks. They enjoy hunting the little guys through the tank (I know that sounds harsh too, but I have better control over their population this way, plus my bettas get an extra treat sometimes)
