Well, alot of you have probably seen the "Four Amigos", the tiny little goldfish I bought this weekend. I made a thread to introduce them to everyone. You know, the fish I bought when I went in for the dogfood! Poor dogs, I did actually forget their food. I had to go back yesterday and get it.

Anyhow, while I was looking at the goldfish I happen to see this wonderful 37 gal Oceanic tank and stand for an incredible markdown, closeout, got to have it price. I was strong and walked out without it. I had my four goldfish in hand so I had to be Very strong, so strong, that when I got into my van I called my husband and begged him, hmmmmmm, I mean asked him if he would mind if I took advantage of this "Sale"! He said go ahead. So I carried my goldfish back inside and picked up the tank and stand, which get this, scanned even less when I was checking out. I got both for $99.00 plus tax.

Here it is, with the tropical fish my friend has been giving me out of her tank that she is closing down to get ready for her move. I quickly set it up, put on a Penguin 350 that I had cycling on a 20 gal, just in case this ever happened, put in some black pebble stones and my trusty log. Its not done, but this is the start of it,








I think the fish are so happy. When I took them out of the 35 long gal tank they were in, had to get that one ready for the four little goldfish, I put them in this 37 gal and they just loved it. I do not think I would ever use this shape of tank for goldfish, but they are sure nice for tropicals!

When my son came home from being out all day and missed the whole setup process, he just looked at the tank and made a comment that went something like this,
"You know how they find those old ladys living alone with 80 cats, you hear about
it on the news? Well, thats going to be my Mom, except with fish"!

Thanks Erin! They do make the most attractive tropical tank. I will continue to decorate it as time and money allow because it is very plain right now, but I do have all the important stuff to have it running. I finished my 30 gal Oceanic, another tropical, and it looks great. I hope I can get this one looking nicer with time.

Hey,there's nothing wrong with being "the Fish woman" ,or "The Cat Lady of Brighton Hts."(One guy interested in dating me once called me that-needless to say he was outta there)
Anyway,what a great price,and how in the world could you pass it up?
Anymore,with all my Bristle babies and Cories,I have almost as many Trop. tanks as I do with the Goldies!

Sharon, you are a woman of my heart! You understand the whole "Fish Woman", "Cat Woman" thing! Plus have a good appreciation of a good deal that simple can not be passed up! Makes me feel so much better when I feel guilty ! Oh, I guess I'm over the guilt. Off to by some plants for my new tank!
