Started to actually design pond 2 now, had lots of ideas etc so, not i have draw what i 'plan' on doing, of course it'll probably change slightly when actually doing it.... but there we go.

It'll house the koi only, (goldfish and tench will stay in pond 1) it will be around the 4000 gallon mark.

I think the pictures are self explanatory, but feel free to ask.

Looks good Loz, so how deep will it be and whats the overall size you are looking at?

I thought you were looking at overground vats and linking
Lozbug
i was goin to do vats, but they are not very deep and only 250 gals, so i couldnt hold much.

size will be like pond one, so about 18' x 11' x 4' deep - approx.

ohmy.gif wow great design for the fake stream.. wow..
i'm getting excited already!

btw Loz, your profile says you are a guy..
Lozbug
cheers lucy! i didnt want to two connected (dues cross contamination etc) but thought it might look a bit odd being completly seperate.

ha-ha so it does... better change that *oops*
Peaches
now the blocks. Are they completly surrounded by water
Lozbug
they'll be tight enough to stop soil falling out, but under water level so fishes can get to plants.... like a built in planting basket

it's for the big plants you see, the bull rush, great sprearwort, iris & grass (carex spendula?), they grow so big and have out grown the biggest baskets i can buy, and are now very heavy to move, so the idea is move them into there and leave em' to it smile.gif

That'll be one neat looking pond, Loz, and I am beginning to imagine how your backyard is gonna look like once its done. I never thought I'd say that, but I think I could leave sunny Florida for the typical UK weather, just for your ponds alone!! heartpump.gif
Lozbug
Aw thanks Andrea smile.gif i wouldnt be without it now.....
