hi i live in asia (Singapore) where there is no summer or winter. Temperature remains constantly throughout the year and during day time the temp can be as high as 34C and night time can be as low as 26C. I think even at night my tank temp will remain quite the same as my tank is placed in the living room. As i read abt breeding, the breeding session was triggered by the change of temperature ie from winter to summer. But i'm living in a country where there is no such change! how shall i bred?

well i live in north qld and i'm kinda in the same boat, but i have sucessfully bred my goldfish once. I dont really know how it happened.. it just did.. maybe at that time it rained for a while, therefore being overcast and not much sunlight filtering in, but then the sun came out and heated the tank up a little from the sun. I dont know though, because i couldn't get them to breed this spring huh.gif

Sorry i couldn't of been more help... maybe trying to cool your tank down for a while and then slowly bringing the temperature up (this might be a bit more trouble than its worth wink.gif) but hrmm... yesh... just kinda imitating the seasonal temperature change.

i think you can by some think that can cool your tank and if you wont to you can rise the but if i was you i would just by some think to cool it and then in the summer time or when ever i would take it out and it will rise again

i think you should add cooler water
try to cahnge things up and this
may trigger them to breed
sometimes when i add water to my pond
they start to show signs of breeding
almost immediately
