Hello again!
I have recently bought two shubunkins for our pond. I have been trying to test all this food out for them, but i'm worried that they might react to it differently. Might they get ill?
Thank you.

Being that shubunkins are a type of goldfish, goldfish food should suit them fine. What kind are you thinking of giving?

My comet (Shubunkin and Sarassa) eat a custom mix of DuraFlake from Aquadine. They are really healthy and colorful.
They get Hikari frozen bloodworms for treats.

Thank you, and where do you get frozen bloodworms from?

You can get it from any LFS. They are in the freezer so just ask the emolpyee in case if you don't see it.

Make sure to buy Hikari if you are getting bloodworms and such. They are sterilized to prevent live parasites. Other brands may come from China and so forth where there is no assurance of good quality control.
Some people actually don't recommend frozen "live" foods from any source.
