I need to move an 18G tub tomorrow as its in front of a dresser that I want to clean out.. but its full and i dont feel like emptying it. I want to clean my whole room out tomorrow and dont have time for fish stuff! soooo.. its on a towel, would it be safe to just pull it along the floor, or would that risk it splitting or something?

What a good time for a big water change!! Water is heavy & dragging the thing is most likely going to just add to your workload ((ya' know MOPPING! laugh.gif ).

awww I just did a 90% water change yesterday!
I forgot to mention that we dont actually have any water running as we are having a bathroom refitted, all I have is old bathwater, a bucket of disinfectant water, a bucket of freah fish water for emergencies (I guess I'll have to use that) and a bucket of old fish water.. because I was too lazy to take it out.
So if I empty it, it will be a while before its full again.

The other way is to get 4 or 5 strong friends to help you lift it. 2 people is not enough and dont try it on your own... unsure.gif smile.gif

Well, you are between a rock & a hard place!!

I would NOT let people try to move it, water is VERY heavy AND VERY hard to control!! I would siphon at least half the water into another tub or something VERY clean & then return the same water after the move.

Good luck! WATCH YOUR BACK!! exactly.gif
