My fantail Odin has been acting strange this morning. I caught him gasping for air despise the tank has a very good aeration. He gasps only for awhile then swims back down at the bottom, then goes back up. I don't know if he's just trying to eat the bubbles at the surface but it's the first time I've caught him doing this.

Water Params

Ammonia 0

Nitrite 0

Nitrate 0-0.25

His fins are all highly erect. The only thing that bothers me is his poo, which was clear with bits of food color. Could it be a bacterial infection? I don't know if the fish being a little constipated could cause it to go gasp for air.

My black moor though is acting like his usual self.

Was he gasping for air all the time, occasionally, or just the one time u caught him gasping? A little air gulping should be nothing to worry about

He goes gasp for air every 30 seconds-1 minute, which is why it's worrying me.

Has the temperature being quite hot?

The water's around 76F (20C I think)... is it considered too warm?
