bettaqueen suggested i post this here as well as in the nonplanted photos sections so all the betta lovers out there can see my decorated tank and my betta.

the tank is 6gal, with a small heater and Elite mini filter. the plants are realistic fern and plastic, and there are a few baby java ferns by the 'no fishing' sign (i know, cheesy, but i like it!)

My betta is named Mr Grumpy (due to his little downturned betta mouth!!) but he's a lovely little character, with unique colouring (purple/pink with red on his fins and a blue outline)

i'll do my best! he has serious camera-shy issues, the second he sees it he hides!!

i've been asked for more pics of my ranchu Chubsey as well, so tomorrow i'll get the camera out again and try to get some good shots of all my fish.

Thats a very pretty fish you have. I love the blue pebbles you used in his tank.

he is soo cute and if you click on the pic link the bottom right corner of the pic has a button with some arrows and that zooms the picture in so you can soo him alot closer(or at least it does on mine)

i'm trying to get some more pics but he is feeling lively today and keeps moving around and blurring the pics! i'll try again later in the evening

I have the same problem with mine, the shots always come out blurry etc. Some people on here manage to get really amazing pictures of their fish

Mr Grumpy is really lovely Kat! He actually looks quite similar to my other betta, Morris. I'll add a picture next time I get the camera

cool i'd like to c morris. i've never seen bettas that look the same as mine. The guy i got him from gets them from a breeder who breeds specific colours and markings.

Yeah, I think my Morris is quite similar, although his colour shades are perhaps darker than Mr Grumpy's. I will try to get a picture at some point when I next have use of a camera

He certainly reminded me of Morris anyway, but no two Bettas are ever exactly the same, they are all so unique thats why they're sooo special

I love anything with skulls! Hence my 8" skull tattoo on my upper arm.

Yeh u lot r always commenting on that skull!! I've not seen too many of them in shops recently. a lucky find i think. it was my first ever ornament that i got with my first fish, my first 'Baby' the blackmoor.
