Devs, I think you've got the record, the only possible contender I can think of is Andrea.

I only have 2, a 55 gal goldie tank and a 20 gal cichlid tank. I would LOVE to have one (or more!) in every room of the house, but alas, space and the fact that I haven't found that Money Hole yet make that not possible.
Still, I have vivid dreams of a 100 gal replacing my 55 gal one day, but I'd have to knock out a wall to make one that size fit, lol.
I am trying to subliminally co-erce my dh into the idea of a pond, though.

Lets see, do ponds count?
I've got one 350 gallon pond, one 55 gallon tank and one 29 gallon tank for the goldies. Then I've got a 10 gallon betta tank with some snails and a 5 gallon tank that currently houses some baby snails that will be moving soon, their almost big enough to where they won't get sucked up in the gravel vac
So thats four tanks and a pond

Oh, no - I heard my name!
Well, lets go through the house and start counting....

5 goldfish tanks in the living room, 1 turtle rubbermaid, 3 goldfish rubbermaid tubs, and one wakin fry pond in the front patio, 1 tank, and 3 300 gl rubbermaids on the back porch. Then there are 3 3800 gl koi ponds, and one 2000 gl comet/shubunkin pond in the backyard. How many is that, I lost track?
If only tanks are included in that counting, then Sharon is definetely the winner so far... Unless one of us around here owns an aquarium store?

You can take the crown,Thank-You very much!!!

I'll count all your Rubbermaid tubs with those tanks.

As we speak,I have two empty 10's in my bedroom, and a 75gal. in the Dining Room. That's not even counting all the smaller 5 gal. Betta tanks!
When I moved,I decided to get a few bigger tanks, and get rid of a couple smaller ones, but somehow that never seems to work......

I wonder why?????????

Wasn't the move the whole idea of downsizing some? What happened? You had an addition built to your apartment?

Alot of it had to do with Bristlenose and Cory babies.I went from two Trop Tanks to 6!

And then there's those darn goldfish all getting of age,and wanting their own rooms(I mean tanks)

I don't know how you all do it with so many tanks!!
I'm a little crazy in that I only have one tank and don't want any more.

These fish have given me such a run for my money with all their treatments. It's enough for me to handle right now. (Yeah, right now.

)
So my one tank is 90 gallons. However I do have several tanks sitting empty. 3 10 gallons that I used as treatment tanks during the bucket to bucket method, 1 20 gallon long, and 1 37 gallon that used to house my fish until they told me they wanted a bigger tank.

Once you tanks "ages" youll have less problems. At least that is my experence. I have four set up right now.
75g parrot fish tank
30g Goldfish tank
10g planted tank with WCMM
5g planted tank with Betta
Going to either buy a larger GF tank or buy stand and set up 20g tank. (leaning toward getting a 55g for goldfish but have to wait till end of the year.)

Aug 11 2006, 01:17 PM
Oh no, we better don't start counting all the empty tanks sitting around, otherwise I can add about 15 more to my list!

Lisa, I can understand perfectly why you are pretty satisfied with one tank at the moment. With all the chilo treatments you have gone through, I am impressed that you haven't toss the towel when the time was really tough. That was one nasty ordeal!

I currently have 4 tanks.
46 gallon regular goldie tank
20 gallon oranda tank
10 gallon tropical tank with guppies
and a 5 gallon hex.
The 5 gallon was the old guppy tank until about a week ago when I got a 10 gallon to put the guppies in. I'm using the 5 gallon to house the newest batch of fry until they are big enough to move over to the main tank

We have a 20g hermit crab tank.
I have a 10g holding tank with 3 goldfish and a pleco, awaiting cycle completion of my new, old 55g tank with 2 Danios helping me out.
And an empty 10g just sitting on the counter begging to be set up. But where in the world would I put it!

Andrea - you could set yourself up as Andrea's Fish Stop and start charging and entry fee

I swear, my local aquarium doesn't have as many tanks/ponds/tubs as you do

Sharon, you could be the Pennsylvania outlet
