Which one is the best in richest protein? Live bloodworms , frozen bloodworms or freeze dried bloodworms.
I am using Hikari freeze bloodworms now.I think Live one contained alot of harmful bacterial that will cause ick to my Oranda. But , I think most of the excellent use Live Bloodworms... very interesting..

I only use freeze dried and gel form "live" foods now. I'm also using Hikari Bio-Pure FD Blood Worms at the moment as well, I think the quality is far superior to the other freeze dried brands I've seen available in the UK

I only use FD because my parents would hate me for keeping live or frozen food in the fridge/freezer with the food lol. I've always fed my fish the topfin brand, but that's just what I've had since I've started. When I buy new ones, I'm going for Hikari or San Fransisco Bay Brand. Same goes for buying live or frozen foods...buy from a very reputable brand like the two above. Bloodworms don't breed in sewage so there is less chance of parasites than say Tubifex, but you still need to be careful. I don't think Ich could come from contaminated foods, but more like internal parasites and bacterias, including nodular disease.

I would go for the hikori frozen blood worms. Hikori puts them through a triple santizing process to make sure they are safe. I have used Sally's brand before but I am not sure if they are sanitized or not.

I use frozen blood worms because it's easy. I used to use the Tetra Delicia range of gel foods but they a bit too expensive for my budget, but they are very good for the fishies

Dont feed your fish exclusively on delicia products. Those are really only given as treats as they contain lots of protein and will be the same as you eating hamburgers every day. Try pelleted food as their main diet which will have a nice balance of essential foods and keep the delicia as a treat for maybe twice a week.
Theres all sorts of fruit and veg you can feed as well.
