I was thinking about getting some spatterdock sometime in the future, and I finally found a store that sold it. It wast $10 per plant! Is this a reasonable price? I remember seeing a lot of overpriced plants there, but they actually had madagascar lace aponogetons. What do you guys think?

$10 is cheap! Here in Australia they are easy $80 for a 10cm plant! These guys grow large and require bright lighting...atleast 3wpg. You can keep them compact by removing the outer larger leaves.
