hi i really need your help as this is my strongest fish, it started suddenly only this fish (i have other 5 fishes all of them doing well in the same tank)started to stay on bottom but when i through food he eats well, he's about 10" and sorry i cant provide any water chemistry as there are no kits in here but i assure the water is perfect, the little pond has also small fry living in it within a cage i made so they wont go out with the big goldies and they are doing well too, the only thing i can suggest is that my sisters little son gave the fishes spoiled food(with fungus on it) the day before my goldie got ill, so could this be the problem and what can i do??

Hi haydar - unfortunately rancid food can kill a goldie

The only suggestion I can make is to do a big waterchange to remove any spoiled food/bacteria from your water and don't feed for the next couple of days. If they're in a pond, do they get a natural food source?
Also how often are you doing waterchanges?
How big is your pond?
