Sterling's Mommy
Ok, I just got my new fish, Sterling. She is a fair fish, and I think she is a comet. Not quite sure yet, but working on it. So my brother and I changed the water yesterday(his fish is in there too). We changed about half of the water...should we be changing more? Is there a difference between bowl and tank? Because we have them in a bowl right now...I know, bad, bad me. But we're going out tomorrow to buy an aquarium. So anyway, can you wonderful folks help me? I heartpump.gif Sterling a lot!

A tank is truly a wonderous thing! Clean it well - but do not use any soap.

Depending on the size of the tank and the size of your fish, it may do for quite a while for your fish. No matter what - it is infinately better than a bowl!

Congratulations! I love suprises! biggrin.gif

Thank you very much!! We went out and bought some gravel and a pump and fixed up the tank- and now everybody's happy! Even Speedy, my brother's fish, is swimming around, whereas earlier he was just lying in the corner breathing with his fins laid flat and his tail forks smushed together. The fish seem especially pleased with the plants- they are poking around like kids under a tree just before Christmas!
