I have a green spotted puffer for over a yr now. Do you know what salinity of water at the petstore they had your puffer in, they eventually have to be fully salt water fish. Check out on the internet and you will get all the info you need from feeding to salinity at specific size they are. Yours will not survive if it is not in some type of brackish water. If the petstore did not have it in brackish water then you will have to slowly increase the salt water, just becareful. Puffers need at least a 20 gallon if not a 30 gallon and have to be by them self, they will kill eachother, so not buddies for your new fish. I did alot of research before I bought my puffer and she is a very happy puffer and has grown alot.

Cute puffer! We've always wanted one but after hearing all the work and space they take, decided against it. I couldnt believe they were so aggressive because they have smiley faces! smile.gif
