just thought I would share a pic of my barrel pond, its small I know, but I just rent my house so I cant go digging up the garden to put in a big proper pond which I would love love love.

annother plant I dont know the name of
it doesnt have a pump so water is kinda murky

Nice. I like the deep color and gloss of the lily leaves. Can't wait to see the pics of the blossom.

your barrel pond is pretty impresive and it looks huge too. mine is 2 feet in diameter. and your fish are beautiful.
yes I love my lilly, my mother actually got it years ago, and I recently aquired it cause it didnt seem to be growing so well for her so I thought Id give it a shot. so I guess its an adopted l illy

It may look huge, but it's the same size as yours.
The fish are regular comets, but with good food and sunshine the colors come out great.

yes the colours on the shubunkins are really vivid.......ooohh I wish I could put a filter on mine so I could put some shubunkins in it.(Ive no electricity sockets outside!)

oh gosh ever since i made this pond Ive been drooling, wanting more and more, dreaming about alovely big pond

guess im just gonna have to get a new tank instead....ah darn

here is the water lilly flowering. it is so beautifull it closes up in the evening and opens in the morning.

I followed the instructions on these pages when I made mine several years ago.
Jeff says you can do a half barrel without a liner. I tried his non-liner approach and it didn't work for me. Otherwise, everything he says is good advice.
