I have a male and female betta separated by a clear divider.... I went to feed them thismorning, and the male has made a massive bubble nest... I feel so badly for him... the female is such a tease

What would you have to do now to have little bettas? Would you carefully put the female in with the male and then remove her when the eggs have been laid and deposited in the nest?

Are you going to bread them?

I was thinking about breeding them, but how can you tell if the female is ready to have eggs? I don't want to put them together for too long for fear of them fighting... I also don't think I could properly take care of the fry... that would be so much fun though... the male is red and my female is bright purple...
